Abstract
The aim of this study is to investigate how German and Norwegian cultural traits
influence companies in their Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) decision-making in
South East Asia. The propositions evaluated in this paper help to investigate how
cultural concepts may influence Foreign Direct Investment determinants, foreign
entry mode, operation organization, risk assessment and decision making
variations in the companies. An exploratory multiple-case study is used to explore
the cases, and cross-analysis is used to draw relevant conclusions.
