dc.description.abstract | I have in this thesis used two different methods to look at the relationship between
public available parliamentary election information and the Stock market in
Norway. I’ve used the time frame between 1997 and 2017. I’ve developed several
different political variables to see if there is a relationship between elections and
the stock market. Some results have been significant, however most of the results
are not significant indicating that politics doesn’t have much influence on the
stock market. | nb_NO |
